Kami (@usekamiapp) is a leading digital classroom app built to transform any existing document into an interactive learning experience. During the Circuitbreaker, I knew of many teachers who used the tool to annotate and give feedback to their students' work when teaching and learning continued remotely.

| Free 1 year Kami for Google Innovators |
Nearing the end of 2020, Google Innovators were greeted with several emails from 'May from Google' sharing with us the latest partnerships that have been firmed up with the Google for Education team benefitting Innovators like me. However, this time the freebies did not come easy.
The free access required us to get Kami certified by watching a few videos as part of the 'Kami Fundamentals Course' and post on a social media platform or the Kami community forum. I figured that the skills I could learn and the access to the free Kami for educators would be useful for my work too so I took on the initiative to complete it as part of my PD in the year end break.

I realised that even without the free full access, the Kami community is actually worth investing some time on as it is really nice to have a group of fellow educators to share and learn from.
I am also committing some of the year end break on some other educational accreditations like the Microsoft Innovative Educator as well as the Adobe Creative Educator. Perhaps I will share more about those next time. I sure hope that thos new found knowledge and skills come handy in this new upcoming year. 2021 here we go!
