I am serving my 6th reservist cycle now as part of the community policing unit at Golf Division (Bedok HQ). With a bit of down time, I realised that I could be a bit more creative and productive.
Having supported Emergency Preparedness Days in the past as an NCDCC Officer, I have some prior knowledge on the importance of reacting reasonably and responsibly when (not if) there is a threat to the status quo (safe, stable and secure society).
Some time back (2 years ago I think in 2020), while attending a 3-day course at Home Team Academy, I got inspired to create a game called 'Escape the Terror' to let users experience the consequences of their actions in a simulation. I think it would be useful as a stimulus for conversations with students in uniformed groups or even total defence day too. Check out the game below (hosted on itch.io).
