Last Friday, ETD had an in-person appreciation day. It was the first time all of us (three branches) had a chance to meet face to face in three years. There were enough people to run a few schools in those three hall rooms at Devan Nair Institute for Employment and Employability (E2i).
Some food was provided and served by our middle managers and there were booths serving churros, coffee or hot chocolate and another one served frozen yoghurt. We could even customise the designs on our gift bottles (by Partyinkers). As for the programme, we played table bingo and the iETD (Staff Welfare for the whole division) team also arranged an Instagram Reels competition where I got to use the face paint/tattoo Augmented Reality filter I did up the day before.
It was nice mingling with colleagues in an informal setting and we also had the opportunity to express our appreciation to our chosen colleagues according to the superhero theme. I also got to take photos with DET using my ETD logo AR effect and I saw some other colleagues also appreciated the filter for their photos and videos. I also took a photo with a teacher from Bedok View Secondary School where I studied years ago. She is now a colleague of mine but from another branch. MOE is truly a close fraternity.
