Proud of my wife, Mdm Nur Liyana, for her VR booth being featured alongside her Secondary 1 students at a Malay Language festival at One Punggol on 8th July 2023.
The idea was relatively simple, identify nouns in the immersive 360 videos as part of the Virtual Reality experience, then come up with adjectives to describe them. It engages the students and helps them build up their vocabulary too. This can be easily applied to other languages including the English language as well.
Some issues worth noting is that the latest Apple iOS is no longer supporting the Google Cardboard feature in YouTube for 360/VR videos.
Another idea worth exploring next is Augmented Reality instead or maybe even the Active Floor (costly) featured in one of the pictures above.
